The OPERA Lab, the Micro-Electronics and Advanced Sensors Laboratory (led by Dr. Mohammad Zarifi), and local armour manufacturer PRE Labs Inc. have been awarded an Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) contract to develop better chemical-resistant clothing for the Canadian Armed Forces. We’ll be detecting and protecting against CBRN threats to keep our Canadian service members safe!
